ABSTRACT Invasive procedures have been an inseparable part of contemporary pain medicine. As a result, flouroscope has been an indispensable equipment in our daily practice but this development brings some questions into mind like how much knowledge do we have about the operation of flouroscope, ionizing radiation and radiation safety? We aimed to give basic information about radiation physics, ionizing radiation. Besides, important points about radiation safety will be specially emphasized.
