ABSTRACT The prevention of cancer treatment-induced bone loss in patients with prostate cancer due to gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH)-agonist, GnRH-antagonist and orchidectomi therapy has a high priority. We present an algorithm for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis during treatment of non-metastatic prostate cancer.
