ABSTRACT Schwannoma is a rare and benign peripheral nerve sheath tumor arising from Schwann cells. Perineal localisation is exceptional. It is most frequently isolated but can be associated with neurofibromatosis 2 or schwannomatosis. This article describes a case of perineal schwannoma, its management and update diagnosis modality and treatment of this tumor.
