The purpose of this study is to get a view of cultural values in Barito Kuala folklore studies broken down into four goals: (1) describe the cultural values regarding the nature of God (man's relationship with God) folklore Barito Kuala, (2) describe cultural values related to human nature as social beings (human relationships with each other) folklore Barito Kuala, (3) describe the cultural values relating to human nature as being an individual (human relationship with yourself) in Barito Kuala folklore, (4 ) describes cultural values with regard to the nature of nature (human relationship with nature) in Barito Kuala folklore. The approach used is the practice of cultural meaning, which is constructed through signs, especially signs of language. While his method is a method of qualitative research is looking at events as natural phenomena, generalization and motivation previously thought to originate from various sources. Sources of data in this study is the book collection of folklore Barito Kuala. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that cultural values inherent in Barito Kuala folklore includes four groups, namely; cultural values regarding the nature of God (man's relationship with God), cultural values regarding the nature of humans as social beings (human relationships with each other ), cultural values regarding the nature of man as a creature of individuals (human relationship with yourself), cultural values regarding the nature of nature (the human relationship with nature). First, cultural values regarding the nature of God (man's relationship with God) is described directly by the trust in the Lord declared the words of God, but also portrayed through the magical figures which are considered to have supernatural power (divinity) such as Jinn, a mysterious man, animals. Devotion is expressed in prayer, devotion expressed prayer, devotion expressed by bertakaruf, devotion expressed by love studying religion, devotion expressed by begging. Second, cultural values pertaining to human nature as social beings (human relationships with each other) is described through deeds mutual help between friends, mutual help among residents.
