Hubungan Antara Hygiene dan Sanitasi Lingkungan Dengan Kejadian Askariasis Pada Anak SD Negeri 068426 Belawan
Ascariasis is one of intestinal worm infected most 2- 10 years old children mainly in developing countries included Indonesia. Askariasis prevalence in north sumatera is 46-75 % and in pediatric department of Pirngadi Hospital medan is 55,8%. Soil transmitted helminthes (STH) occured frequently in a place with bad hygiene and sanitation like along beach line belawan medan. Although wellness prognosis of this desease is 70-99%, nevertheless still able caused growth disorder among children. Analytic crossectional reseach with simple random sampling method conducted to 6th grade elementary school 0672 belawan medan to 60 children. Research is to known the relation between hygiene sanitation of environment with askariasis in children in belawan sailor village. Data collection done with laboratorium feses examination and direct interview in cuesioner. And than data prosses in 3 step, mainly : prepare, examination and table data proses with spss 17. Analisis result show there is a siqnificant connection between age with askariasis (39,3%), non-siqnificant connection between gender with askariasis(57,4%), significant connection between self sanitation with askariasis(67,7%) and non-siqnificant connection between environment hygiene with askariasis (47,5%). Concluded that there is relation between age and self sanitation with ascarisis incident and there is not with gender and environment hygiene. To local government especially local health service to increase hygiene and sanitation and also to the next researcher to further research modul. 070100227
