MELT-SPUN MIXTURES BETWEEN Nd2Fe14B AND Nd1.1Fe4B4

ABSTRACT We prepared ribbons of the pseudobinary alloys (1-x) T1+xT2 with T1 = (Nd2Fe14B) and T2 = (Nd1.1Fe4B4) and 0 ≤ x ≤ 1 by rapid quenching on a Cu-drum. The effect of composition and heat treatment on the coercivity, microstructure and crystallization of the samples were studied.
