Pengaruh Media Tanam dan Pemberian Mikoriza Vesikula Arbuskular (MVA) Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Kedelai (Glycine max (L.) Merril)

ABSTRACT Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media tanam dan pemberian Mikoriza Vesikula Arbuskular (MVA) terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kedelai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di daerah Batang Kuis Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang yang berada pada ketinggian tempat + 25 meter di atas permukaan laut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan September sampai dengan November 2009. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah Komposisi media tanam (M) dengan 3 taraf : M1 = Top soil + Grift chamber + Sludge (100% + 0 + 0); M2 = Top soil + Grift chamber + Sludge (50% + 50% + 0); M3 = Top soil + Grift chamber + Sludge (50% + 0 + 50%); M4 = Top soil + Grift chamber + Sludge (50% + 25% + 25%). Faktor kedua adalah Mikoriza Vesikula Arbuskula (N) dengan 4 taraf : N0 = MVA 0 g/tanaman; N1 = MVA 5 g/tanaman; N2 = MVA 10 g/tanaman; N3 = MVA 15 g/tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman bobot basah akar, bobot kering akar, produksi per sampel, produksi per plot, dan bobot 100 biji, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang produktif, jumlah nodul akar efektif, bobot nodul akar efektif, jumlah polong berisi, dan jumlah polong hampa. Perlakuan mikoriza berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah cabang, jumlah polong berisi, produksi per sampel, dan produksi per plot., tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, jumlah nodul akar efektif, dan bobot nodul akar efektif, jumlah polong hampa, bobot basah akar, bobot kering akar, dan bobot 100 biji. The experiment was aimed to examine the effect of land media and by giving Micoryza Vesicula Arbuscular (MVA) on the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max). The experiment was conducted at Batang Kuis Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang with elevation + 25 m above the sea level, started from September until November 2009. The experiment used randomized completely block design (RCBD) factorial with 2 treatments factor and 3 repetitions. The first factor is the composition media pants out (M) with 4 stages: M1 = top soil (100%); M2 = top soil + grift chamber (50% + 50%); M3 = top soil + sludge (50% + 50%); M4 = top soil + grift chamber + sludge (50% + 25% + 25%). The second factor is Micoryza Vesicula Arbuscula (N) with 4 stages: N0 = MVA 0 g/plant; N1 = MVA 5 g/plant; N2 = MVA 10 g/plant; N3 = MVA 15 g/plant. The result showed that media plants out have a significantly effect in stem length, wet weight comes to fruition, dry weight comes to fruition, production per sample, production per plot, and 100 seeds weight; but not significantly effect of sum of productive branch, sum of meaty pod and sum of empty pod. The treatment of Micoryza have a significantly effect in sum of branch, sum of meaty pod, production per sample, and production per plot; but not significantly effect in stem length, sum of branch, sum of effectively root nodule, weight of effectively root nodule, sum of empty pod, root wet weight, root dry weght, and 100 seeds weight. 030301034
