Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kejadian Kecacingan Pada Anak Sekolah Dasar Di Desa Tertinggal Kecamatan Pangururan Kabupaten Samosir Tahun 2008

ABSTRACT 09E00823 Penyakit kecacingan merupakan salah satu penyakit yang ditularkan melalui tanah, dengan dampak mengganggu perkembangan fisik, kecerdasan, mental, prestasi, dan menurunkan ketahanan tubuh. Hasil survei Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sumatera Utara di Sekolah Dasar ditemukan prevalensi kecacingan 68%. Survei Sub Program P2P dan PL Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Samosir di 44 Sekolah Dasar ditemukan prevalensi kecacingan 25,49%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian kecacingan pada anak SD Negeri di desa tertinggal Kecamatan Pangururan Kabupaten Samosir. Penelitian bersifat observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi 202 orang anak dan sampel adalah total sampling. Hasil penelitian ditemukan prevalensi kecacingan 56,40%. Prevalensi Ascaris lumbricoides 38,60%. Proporsi berdasarkan jenis infeksi campuran 47,40%. Proporsi kelompok umur 6-8 tahun 48,50%, laki-laki 57,40% dan makan obat cacing ? 6 bulan 81,70%. Proporsi tidak memiliki jamban 76,70%, tempat biasa pembuangan tinja di kebun 52,00%, personal higiene kategori sedang 68,30%. Proporsi Ascaris lumbricoides + Trichuris trichiura 40,70%. Derajat infestasi Ascaris lumbricoides ringan 89,74%, Trichuris trichiura ringan 100% dan Hookworm ringan 95,12%. Prevalensi kelompok umur ? 12 tahun 65,50%, perempuan 58,10%, dan makan obat cacing ? 6 bulan 68,50%. Hasil uji Chi Square Tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara faktor umur, jenis kelamin, kepemilikan jamban, tempat biasa buang air besar dengan kejadian kecacingan. Ada hubungan bermakna antara personal higiene, makan obat cacing dengan kejadian kecacingan (p < 0,05) . Kepada pihak sekolah agar senantiasa memberikan pengetahuan pentingnya personal higiene dan penyediaan sarana air bersih serta jamban untuk mencegah terjadinya infeksi kecacingan. Kepada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Samosir dan Puskesmas Buhit supaya meningkatkan pembinaan dan melaksanakan program penanggulangan kecacingan yang sudah berjalan. The results of a survey have done by the Provincial of Health of North Sumatra at Elementary schools found that 68% of the pupils have infected by worms. A survey done by the CDC and Healthy Environment at District of Health Samosir found that from 44 Elementary schools 25.49% of school children have infected by worms. This study was designed to determine the association of factors with the state of worm infection among the pupils at public elementary schools in undeveloped villages in the Sub-district of Pangururan, District of Samosir. The study was done by analytical observation using cross sectional study. Population consist of 202 children and sample is total sampling. The results of the study showed that 56.40% of the pupils were infected by worms. The proportion of Ascaris lumbricoides was 38.60%. The proportion of mixed infections was 47.40%. The proportion of infected children in the age-group of 6-8 years was 48.50%, males 57.40%, and having taken medicine against worms > 6 months was 81.70%. The proportion of them not having access to a toilet was 76.70%. The proportion of them who usually defecate in the garden is 52.00%, have moderate personal hygiene 68.30%. The proportion of Ascaris lumbricoides and Trichuris trichiura 40.70%. Have infections of Ascaris lumbricoides 89.74%, Tirchuris trichiura 100% and Hookworm 95.12%. The prevalence rate of infections in the age group of > 12 years was 65.50%, female 58.10% and having taken medicine against worms > 6 months 68.50%. The results of the Chi square test showed that no significant association between the factors of age, sex, having access to a toilet, and the place of defecation, with being infected by worms.
