Zastosowanie Spektroskopii Ramana w Badaniu Minerałów z Wybranych Meteorytów


ABSTRACT Ordinary chondrites DaG 610 and NWA 869, as well as graphite nodules from Canyon
Diablo iron meteorites were investigated by confocal Raman microspectroscopy in order to identify
extraterrestrial minerals. Olivines, orthopyroxenes (enstatite, bronzite and hyperstene),
clinopyroxenes (pigeonite), plagioclase, troilite and various carbon phases, mainly graphite and
diamond have been identified and characterized.

    ABSTRACT: The confocal Raman micro-spectroscopy was used for extraterrestrial carbonaceous matter characterisation. Different allotropic forms of carbon, mainly graphite and lonsdaleite, were identified in various meteorites: ordinary chondrites DaG 610 and NWA 869, in NWA 3118 carbonaceous chondrite, and in iron meteorites Morasko and in Sikhote Alin.
