ABSTRACT Lipoblastoma is a rare benign neoplasm of embryonal fat that occurs typically in infancy and childhood. An unusual case of a giant mesenteric lipoblastoma in a 4-year-old child is presented. The lipoblastoma was completely removed. Histopathologic examination confirmed the diagnosis of mesenteric lipoblastoma. Observation of the patient for 4 months postoperatively showed no evidence of recurrence.
