Promoção de atitudes ambientais favoráveis através de debates de dilemas ecológicos

ABSTRACT Este estudo se propôs a promover atitudes ambientais favoráveis em adolescentes através de debates de dilemas com conteúdo ecológico. Os dilemas foram elaborados com base na teoria de julgamento moral de Kohlberg e na técnica de discussão de dilemas morais em grupo, criada por Blatt e Kohlberg. Dezesseis estudantes do primeiro ano do segundo grau de uma escola pública de Porto Alegre participaram do estudo, tendo sido aplicado nesses estudantes, como pré-teste e pós-teste, um questionário de dez itens sobre atitudes em relação à ecologia. As respostas dos participantes foram avaliadas numa escala de zero a dois pontos, indicando o grau de maturidade de atitudes em relação ao ambiente. O grau de participação nas discussões de dilemas também foi analisado. A análise dos dados indica que a técnica foi eficaz somente para os alunos considerados participativos nas discussões.

    ABSTRACT: The literature points out that the social imaginary of adoption is associated with altruism and hedonism of adopters. Thus, the present study aimed to investigate some psychosocial characteristics of adoptive mothers, such as the motivation to adopt, moral judgment, locus of control, and perceived social support. The participants were 20 adoptive and 20 biological mothers. Data were collected using a questionnaire of psychosocial items, the Sociomoral Reflection Objective Measure, and Levenson's Multidimensional Locus of Control Scale. The results indicated that 60% of participants related adoption to fertility problems. However except for perceived social support, there were no significant differences between the type of maternity and the variables investigated. The results suggest new directions for studies about the moderator factors of psychological adaptation of adoptive families.

    ABSTRACT: In Psychology, the branch of studies about moral development, from a psychogenetic perspective, began with the 1932 book Moral Judgment of the Child. In this book, Jean Piaget refers to a set of experiments demonstrating that morality and acquisitions in the cognition and affective field are related. Nowadays, this field of studies has grown constantly and produced new theories and intervention accounts in the scope of moral education. The objective of this paper is to present a brief overview of the main psychological theories that deal with moral development, demonstrating some interventions and arguing that education is a privileged space for the development of social moral awareness which has not been duly used to advantage in Brazil.

    ABSTRACT: The following paper proposes the analysis of ecology in the processes of environmental defense through the premises of moral psychology. It's important for this subject to broaden its analytical field to fundamental areas of human needs and human relations, and in relation to ecology, the research is incipient. The supported thesis argues that ecology is moral. The researched group was composed of environmental leaders of Rondônia, selected by network building. The semi-open interview and the moral ecological dilemmas followed by interview survey were used, and then the participants spoke about their activities concerning environmental defense and described the historical process through which an ecological conscience was formed, and while answering the questions on moral dilemmas, corroborated the thesis, showing the existence of a moral ecological personality, based on the subjective analysis of justice and on universal ethical principles. The leaders also present an ecological ethic, a "green" ethic based on sustainability.
