ABSTRACT Extraction of the aerial parts of Stevia jujuyensis from Jujuy Province afforded sesquiterpene lactones identical with or closely related to lactones previously isolated from a collection of S. jujuyensis from Salta Province, including a new 4-epitansanin derivative, two new heliangolides, a new jujuyensolide, as well as a new labdanoic acid, polycladin, artemetin and 5-hydroxy-3,6,7,4′-tetramethoxyflavone.
