DIE BENUTTING VAN LEWENSKAARTE IN MAATSKAP- LIKE GROEPWERK MET ADOLESSENTE PLEEGKINDERS

Social Work Researcher Practitioner 01/2010; 22(3):326-342.

ABSTRACT Life maps can play an important role in a foster-care monitoring program for teenagers in foster care. A qualitative and quantitative study was conducted and research showed that the self-perception, future vision and relationships with family and friends of the respondents improved a lot after they participated in a group work program with the focus on life maps. The Child Inventory Scales (CFI High) of the Perspective training college were applied as measuring instrument and the results showed that the use of life maps in a foster-care monitoring program can help these children in foster care to improve their social functioning.
