Interdisziplinäres Komplikationsmanagement in der Viszeralmedizin

Abstract

Die Viszeralmedizin mit ihren vielen Facetten der chirurgischen und endoskopischen Interventionen birgt ein gewisses Potenzial
an unvermeidbaren Komplikationen. Grundvoraussetzung für die Beherrschung von Komplikationen sind eine zielgerichtete Diagnostik
und Therapie. Für die Effektivität einer schnellen und konsequenten Diagnostik bzw. Therapie ist ein kompetentes interdisziplinäres
Komplikationsmanagement unabdingbar. Der Erfolg des Komplikationsmanagements bestimmt die Prognose und Krankenhausverweildauer
des Patienten. Ziel dieser Übersicht ist es, die wesentlichen Komplikationen endoskopischer Interventionen sowie chirurgischer
Manöver aufzuzeigen und deren interdisziplinäre Therapiemöglichkeiten darzustellen.

Visceral medicine with its wide array of surgical and endoscopic interventions involves the risk of unpreventable complications.
Basic requirements for the control of complications are target-oriented diagnostics and therapy. The efficiency of fast and
consequent diagnostics with subsequent therapy depends on a competent and interdisciplinary management of complications. The
success of this management is decisive for the prognosis and hospital stay of patients. In the present overview the main complications
of endoscopic interventions and surgical therapy are outlined and options for interdisciplinary treatment are discussed.
