[Influence of short-term weight intervention on glycolipid metabolism of patients with type II diabetes].

ABSTRACT To explore how health management of short-term weight intervention affects glycolipid metabolism of patients with type II diabetes.
Overweight or obese type II diabetes mellitus patients were under weight intervention for 45 days with health management model and the epidemiologic method of self control.
Compared with before intervention, the levels of both fasting blood-glucose (FBG) and blood-glucose 2 hours after meal, weight, BMI, waistline, hip circumference and upper arm circumference of the patients after intervention lowered significantly (P < 0.05), levels of serum TC, HDL-C, LDL-C increased obviously (P < 0.05), and TG levels did not change significantly.
Due to the particularity of their blood lipid metabolism mentioned above, when carrying out health management of short-term weight intervention on patients with type II diabetes.
