ABSTRACT The paper formulates properties derived from the definitions of classes, subclasses and objects which represent the core of an abstraction model. The abstraction model is characterized by knowledge energy, Shannon entropy and knowledge temperature. The application of the theoretical results is illustrated by a case study.
