Ying Chen

Neurology, Cognitive Psychology, Behavioural Science

I am a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at the Center for Vision Research at York University.

With a clinical background in neurology my research interests involve investigating the neural mechanisms for spatial coding of targets for human aiming movements, in particular, arm and eye movements using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

My research has significant implications for rehabilitation therapies for patients with motor deficits as well as with neurodegenerative disorders.
