I have worked in a range of topics in molecular plant biology in Australia, Sweden, Denmark and Israel. In 2012 I moved to the University of Sydney. My current research interests are the properties and functions of plant serpins, plant environmental effects on peanut allergenicity, responses of rice and cotton to low oxygen, barley aleurone cell death, the effects of malting on phenolic compounds in sorghum grain, and the physiological properties and grain quality of Australian native rices.
