  I am interested in tagging my protein with halo tag. My protein is a histone methyl tranferase of 500kD and I want to use this tag for pull down studies, and co-localization studies of my protein etc. Could anyone who already used this tag suggest how reliable this tag is? What are the considerations to keep in mind while working with this tag?
