About

I use scattering and imaging with both X-rays and neutrons, coupled with high-pressure and high-temperature devices, to tackle problems in the Earth and Materials sciences. My current research interests revolve around melting and deformation in the Earth and include studies of how aggregates deform, the partial melting of rocks, biomineralization, the structure of melts and the dehydration of clays.
