  • Nov 2013
Recipient of University of Otago summer project supervision grant. The grant allowed me to supervise summer studentship project: Exploring the osseointegration of titanium scaffold biomaterials with the MARS-µCT.
  • Sep 2012
Best presentation award in Bioengineering Conference held in June 2012 at University of Canterbury. The title reads Imaging of gold nanoparticles in MARS-CT.
  • Oct 2011
Recipient of IEEE NSS / MIC / RTSD Trainee Grant.

Over the past 4+ years I have been involved in medical imaging research in general - computed tomography in particular. I have contributed to the development of MARS spectral CT systems. The characterization of various Medipix photon counting detectors was performed under high x-ray flux.
I love working in cross-disciplinary environments and collaborating with people from different backgrounds.
My key skills include x-ray imaging especially with single photon counting/processing detectors.
