About

I am the Director of the NDSU Center for Visual and Cognitive Neuroscience, which was founded by a NCRR (now NIGMS) IDeA Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) grant in 2004. I am PI/PD of this COBRE grant, which was renewed in 2010 for a second 5-year period of support. My research interests encompass basic visual perception (spatial vision, brightness and lightness perception), spatial attention (neglect and pseudoneglect), aging, and multisensory integration.
