InterestsFeeding, Systematics, My research field concerns ecology and biology of Annelida Polychaeta, one of the most important group in benthic communities both in marine and brackish-water environments. In particular, my interest and expertise concern faunistics, taxonomy and zoogeography, reproduction and life-cycles, regeneration capability, biotic interactions, other than the employment of these invertebrates as bioindicators of environmental impact and bioremediators. Although my research deals with almost all polychaetes, I'm mainly focused on Sabellidae and Serpulidae families., Population Ecology
