I'm interested in plants and their response to environmental stresses. I study pathogen stress and abiotic stress signaling pathways by characterizing protein-protein interactions and teasing apart how these interactions lead to resistance or sensitivity to stress. By using a big data approach in combination with functional characterization of individual genes, I have helped to identify kinases involved in plant immunity and early signal transduction.
