    The Robin Lea Roberts Honours Prize for Roman/Latin Studies 2011


Lewis Webb is a a doctoral candidate at the Department of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies at Umeå University, Sweden. He won the Robin Lea Roberts Prize for Roman Studies for his Honours (University of Adelaide, Australia), which examined thematic archetypes in Livy’s Bacchanalian account. He received a High Distinction for his M.Phil. (University of Adelaide, Australia), and his thesis examined the regulation of Rome's women during the Second Punic War.
