[more]yes in an emergency where the heart rate should be raised suddenly adrenaline is pushed into the blood vessel (but not more than 0.5ml ) directly which will increase the blood pressure to save life. But in mild allergic conditions eg anaphylactic shocks, and in asthmatic attacks adrenaline is given in subcutaneous route to slowly dissolve it with blood ,so that the Blood pressure is not raised but the allergy is taken care of.Following
