Every material can have multiple harmonics. You do draw upon the macro-scale phenomena of resonance in your proposal, but I think you will find that Micro Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) are superior in scalability and efficiency. For example, rather than incorporating a low voltage pickup and some resonant string array, it is much more feasible to pattern a surface with integrated micro generators, by roll to roll manufacturing for example. In this sense your resonator-generator density is much higher by the MEMS approach.Following
