In most conditions there are no problems with Taq purity but stil... [more]From which company you have ordered Taq and have you checked it's storage condition? In most conditions there are no problems with Taq purity but still if you have doubts then run with universal/RAPD primer at 37°C, with any isolated genomic DNA, if it shows no specific binding then there is no problem in Taq and you need to change your DNA sample purity so just try it and say what you got in result, any blurring or smearing of bands in gel.
