Biophysics, Condensed Matter Physics

Primary area of research is soft condensed matter physics, specifically the structural determination of biologically relevant systems and their interactions through the use of appropriate scattering techniques (i.e. neutrons, x-rays and light).

Current interests include:
• The in-plane structure of nanosopic domains.
• Structural determination of lipid bilayers through the combined use of neutron and x-ray scattering, and molecular dynamics simulations.
