About

I am interested in large-scale patterns and processes underlying phenotypic diversity and evolution, and in
particular how ecology shapes variation in morphology, physiology and behaviour among species.

Using mammals as model taxon, I study the evolution of reproduction and life histories, the evolutionary ecology of sleep, brain evolution, the evolution of energetics, the role of natural and sexual selection in the evolution of body size and weaponry, and what 'makes' an invasive species.
