About

I have mainly worked on the population biology/ecology/genetics of small insects, e.g. aphids and wasp parasitoids and on muscle physiology. Main topics: Dispersal ranges of different aphid species; Clonal fidelity; Generalism vs. specialism; Rapid insect evolution; Local population genetics of geometrid moths; Effects of chromosome telomere lengths on aphid clones; Acto-myosin crossbridge cycle of insect flight muscle; Exploration of effects of parasites on the behaviour of their insect hosts.
