I'm art historian (modern and contemporary visual arts) and not very competent in mythology, but I'd like to advise you to read a book "The Structure of the Myth" by Russian author. If you are interested in such theoretical themes and can read in Russian, I'll get the author's full name. OK? Good luck in your interesting research!..Following

I'm realy pleased to talk to you, my friends. But I myself meant another concept... Now I'll start from the end, please: Mr Cochofel told that 'Modernism is out of facshon'. I can't agree with him at once - without some questions. As we all know, art of Modernism has two historical deffinitions (it has much more ones, but now I apply to two of them - the most polarized and different versions) - the first claims that Modernism began after Great French Revolution (anywhere, after the epoch of European revolutions) simuntanously to the ideas of Enlightement... And if so, Delaxoir and other romanticians are the founders of it. It is not only my oppinion - Lionelo Venturi, the famous (and the most important - the clever, as many famous people are 100% stupid:))) art historian from Italy said this. It has its basic argumantation, shortly - the stylistic nature and the domination of secular thematics (also - the religious themes in secular interpretation). I think the time borders, mantioned above, mean the Modernism of XX century - in the other way - the art of Avantgarde. So, my dears, we should say at first when Modernism starts and not only it expresses itself in perfect art forms. All the best to our discussiants.Following
