I am a paleobiologist working on morphological evolution, biogeography & macroecology in various taxonomical, chronological & ecological contexts including: statistical characterization of geographic rarity; Cenozoic mammal diversity in Europe & N. America; Early Triassic recovery (with A. Brayard & H. Bucher); and cryptic diversity in planktonic forams (with F. Quillévéré, R. Morard & C. de Vargas). I am the Editor in chief of Geobios (Elsevier) and head of the B.Sc. studies in Geology at UCBL.
