My current research is focused on developing a tissue engineered solution for treating age-related macular degeneration. Prior to this, I led a project investigating the possible development of an in vivo imaging system for visualising re-vascularisation during wound healing. I have also worked on a number of molecular physiology based projects, investigating factors involved in altering gene/protein expression, the initiation/arrest of biochemical pathways, and protein:protein interactions.
