Some times more than 24 hours is needed for incubating them at 37C. May be you have DNase contamination related with the solutions for alkali lysis. Do the plasmid isolation with positive control, by the same E coli strain but different plasmid.Following

I recommend you pharmacopeas (USP (American) or EP (European)) that you can find more information about chemicals.Following
