I am uncertain whether this is commonplace with every language. I agree with Gerard Bailly's comment. It seems as though at a certain point in the repetition, the auditory self-perception of the word itself switches streams or pathways. This switching seems to cause a mild sense of confusion for me. It is almost as if focusing on the phonetics of the word intensely causes a short-circuit in my understanding of the word altogether. I am no expert on the subject, I just thought it was a rather intriguing experience. I would like to learn more about auditory pathways as I am having some trouble grasping the concept entirely. Further insight would be greatly appreciated!Following
