My research interests include basic principles of genetic toxicology using plant and animal bioassays, molecular genetic assays and antioxidative enzyme assays for detecting genotoxins in the environment and plant extracts. The plant and animal assays measure chromosomal aberrations, micronuclei induction and genomic DNA damage. We combine genotoxicity studies with environmental phytotoxicity studies.
