Since 2006, I have been working as a consultant and head of the public diplomacy unit at dimap communcations, a public affairs consultancy based in Berlin. Among other clients, I have been involved in managing the media relations for Russia’s very first G8 presidency in 2006. This work also included the support of German journalists at the G8 summits in St. Petersburg (Russia, 2006) as well as Heiligendamm (Germany, 2007).
Before joining dimap communications, I received a Master in Public Administration and Public Policy at the University of York (UK, with distinction) and a Bachelor at the University of Bochum (Germany).
Besides, I am interested in think tanks and in public diplomacy. I am the founder of the Think Tank Directory Deutschland, a complete directory of all German think tanks and co-founder of the Association for Place Branding & Public Diplomacy, a network of academics and practicioners in the fields of place branding and public diplomacy.
