By recognizing various climatic changes and their impacts in Himalayan Mountains, Prakriti, a mountain environment Group proposed a collaborative initiative called 'Climate Himalaya Initiative'. The initiative focuses on Climatic Adaptation through-Awareness Generation, Knowledge Networking, Capacity Building and Environmental Governance. The four major issues covered are: Ecosystems, Water, Forest and Livelihood.
