BSc (Chemistry), PhD (Chemical Science), Master (Bioinformatics).
Research fields: medicinal chemistry, nanotechnology, multifunctional non-viral drug delivery vectors, gene expression and post-transcriptional regulation (small, micro and long non coding RNAs), next generation sequencing, bioinformatics and systems biology. In 2004 I founded the Gene Expression - Microarrays Laboratory (Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital, Rome) which I am now leading.
