My current research focuses on the study of the dynamical properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma. In cosmology, it is believed that the early expanding universe consisted of such plasma a few microseconds after the Big Bang. The CERN particle accelerator allows to create and study this novel state of matter in collisions of high energetic atomic nuclei. Little is known about this peculiar state of matter and we wish to study this fascinating period in cosmological evolution in more detail.
