About
Our current research focuses on elucidating the ontogeny, expansion and differentiation potential of tissue-resident adult dermal stem cells, of both human and murine origin, with the final goal of exploiting their therapeutic potential through development of tissue-engineered constructs. We also aim to contribute to existing understanding of their potential role in the development of skin cancer and other pathologies.
