Aldemaro Romero Jr. is the former Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He received his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Miami, Florida. He has published more than 800 pieces including more than 20 books. His academic interests range from environmental and evolutionary biology to history and philosophy of science and science communication. He was been awarded numerous grants and prizes for his research and science communication work.
