In this case: - "i" and "j" are specific numbers of nodes (right?) - "P" is random value (assumption)? ... I need some literature for this question, or if you are willing to "get into" this problematics... I'd like to discuss with somone about quantative/qualitative trust (metric) between nodes?!Following

Article: P2P Appliance Calculation Method For Trust between Nodes within a P2P Network
Adis Medic, Adis Golubovic[show abstract] [hide abstract]
ABSTRACT: Modern ways of communications, such as in a web services environment, also influences trust relationships between organisations. This concept of web-based (way towards semantic web services) trust is new and has as yet not been resolved. We hope that some of the trust properties mentioned above can be successfully employed to improve the understanding of trust between machines. So, trust is a vital ingredient of any successful interaction between individuals, among organizations and/or in society at large. In this paper, we suggested a trust model using fuzzy logic in semantic network of nodes. Trust is an aggregation of consensus given a set of past interaction among nodes (semantic network based on machines, agents etc.). We applied our suggested model to semantic networks in order to show how trust mechanisms are involved in communicating algorithm to choose the proper path from source to destination. Authors use the terms untrust and distrust as synonyms for the condition opposite to the trust.International Journal of Computer Science Issues. 07/2012; Vol. 9(Issue 4-No. 2):125-130. -

Conference Proceeding: Improvement of Web Services at the local level in Bosnia and Herzegovina
[show abstract] [hide abstract]
ABSTRACT: Local web services (services that are offered by local community web portals – G2C communication) are one of the most important factor for stabile and prosper e-Government project. E-Government presents one-stop-shop for population that directly affect on public administration and their need to change way of information-service distribution. E-Government must provide information that is accessible via Internet or some other web based media (intranet portal). And, of course, progress in information distribution is tightly connected to IT architecture improvements, so it has also a very important factor in expensive investments. This paper presents a three year (years 2009, 2010 and 2012), four year period, of researching for local government maturity that is presented through web portal presentation at local level of public administration.CECIIS 2012, Varaždin, Croatia; 09/2012 -
Article: Survey of Computer Trust and Reputation Models – The Literature Overview
Adis Medić[show abstract] [hide abstract]
ABSTRACT: P2P networks have been rapidly spread in the last few years. Nevertheless, together with its fast development, many security threats have also appeared, compromisingsensitive information and promoting frauds in electronic transactions Trust and Reputation management has arisen as one of the most innovative and accurate solutions to most of these threats. By using a trust and reputation model apeer who wants to interact with another peer in the community has more informationand, therefore, more opportunities to select the right partner to have a transaction with, rather than with a fraudulent one. The paper presents a description of some of the most representative trust and reputation models for P2P networks. It is explained how each of them works, how they manage the concepts of trust and reputation or how they gather information about other peers in the network. If we consider to overcome the uncertainty of risk on the open market, such as market information, we must establish a relationship of trust between users and service providers.International Journal of Information and Communication Technology Research. 03/2012; 2(3):254-275. -

Article: Making secure Semantic Web
Medić Adis, Golubović Adis[show abstract] [hide abstract]
ABSTRACT: this paper first describes ways of semantic web security implementation through layers. These layers are presented as a backbone for semantic web architecture and are represented in XML security, RDF security and in an idea of semantic web security standardization.Universal Journal of Computer Science and Engineering Technology. 01/2010; -
