why i asked these q.s for cluneal n s?
i read about it in a text book with these syndromes
but this text not mentioned age or exact etiology
i searched for this , i didn't find an answer
and according to my clinical experience and the cases i found that
most of cases are of old age due to age related tightness of the fascial tunnel for the nerve
i found that it'sn't uncommon
i found cases bilateral affection and i asked my self what's the cause of bilaterality?
i searched for the cuase but i didn't find an answer so with some brain storming i suggest that
bilateality is due to
1- Sympathetic
2-Both share same spinal segment and so ,it's some sort of referred pain or radiating pain
and this is evedenced by my clinical opservation that there's amain side of complain while the other side is only tender on examination or to less painful
3-presence of the cause on both sides
what are your opinions according to your experiences and according to EBM? -
