HFSS and IE3D
depend on type of antenna and applications, HFSS and CST is usually applicable. also, FEKO is suitable for large antenna as reflector antenna.
It depends on the application and packages you select. Traditionally:
* WIPL-D and FELO are excellent for antenna and antenna placement problems due to the surface current expansion and method of moments (e.g. radoms, reflector antennas);
* HFSS and CST are excellent for waveguides, complex dielectric structures;
Zeland IE3D is great for PCB type of problems
It is not that other packages cannot do the job. For most times, any package can do most of the designs. However, some can do it faster, with less memory, or have better user interface.
It depends the nature of the antenna,also each software has own method of numerical modeling such as (FDTD ,MoM..),so you can use HFSS,which works with FDTD ,and also compare it with Momentum in ADS which works with MoM method,also for Yagi and Fractal antennas there is 4NEC2 which is also good for simulation such as type of these antennas.
