    thanks

  • Ivanovitch Silva · Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte
    For open source solution, OMNET++ and Ns-3 are the best choices. Opnet is other option, but it is not free. What wireless technology do you interesting for?
  • Chandra Shekhar · Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad
    I will suggest Castalia. Just try it.
  • Praveen Kumar · Anna University, Chennai
    opnet is good. but costs more
  • Nagarajan Munusamy · Bharathiar University
    omnet++ is one of the best simulator for WSN
  • Sindhuja Jagadeeshvaran · KTVR Knowledge Park For Engineering And Technology
    Is omnet++ an open source?
  • Nagarajan Munusamy · Bharathiar University
    Omnet++ is not an open source. But It is a free software for academic and non profit use. For commercial use we should get licence like Java.
  • Björn Stelte · Universität der Bundeswehr München
    'Avrora' is a scalable sensor network simulator with precise timing. It is a set of simulation and analysis tools for programs written for Mica2 sensor nodes. So you can use the same binaries for simulation and real-world evaluation.

    TOSSIM 2 of TinyOs can be a good choice if you
    (1) work or WSN
    (2) are going to redo the simulations with real WSN platform (As the same code in simulation will be used to real experimentation)
    (3) need an accurate channel model
