Question

Morphological markers for disease resistance in apple breeding

I have started a small breeding program for apple resistance to diseases. Does anybody know of useful papers or have information about morphological markers useful for early selection of seedlings for fruit quality?

You can refer to morphological markers papers in mango and papaya, which were presented in the International symposiums, these have come in different volumes of Acta Horticulturae
