Question

Looking for examples of old grant proposals to use as teaching tool.

I'm looking for a few samples of real grant proposals that were submitted. We would love proposals that were and were not funded to use in a training workshop where we will analyze, compare and contrast. Please send me a message if you can help. Thank you!

  • Dear Nina,
I believe you need proposals from green biotech. Unfortunately the old proposals are destroyed. They were focused merely on bioethics/law matter in red bioetch/biomedicine. So I am unable to send anything.

Are you sure this is a good idea? My experience with proposals is the strangest ones get funded - usually for political, internal or strategic reasons, not so much because of the content or writing. Of course, the proposals must be coherent, but merit is not always the deciding factor in funding.

You're welcome to any of my old proposals (mainly infectious disease, molecular biology focus) if you want them - successful/unsuccessful, and I can find them. Message me if interested.
