Corporate Social Responsibility and Trade Unions in Europe

Hi there,

I am working on my PhD dissertation and the topic is CSR and the trade union motivations to engage in CSR activities in Europe. The argument is that since due to adoption of neoliberal policies at the state level, the position of trade unions have weakened and they need some leverage to engage with the powerful employers. And they see in CSR an opportunity to engage with the employer and gain some say at the firm/industry level.

If someone has some ideas/material, that would be helpful.
